I am loving Lost!!!  It's so sad that Goodwin isn't around (he was hawt....for an old guy), but I am wicked in love with Jack and Sawyer and Charlie and all the rest of 'em.  Hell, I even felt a bit of sympathy for uber-witch Ana.  I think this show just keeps getting better and better.  There was sadness with deathly-pale dead Shannon, all kinds of happy 'shipping for Kate/RestoftheIsland, and cool new people meeting cool old people!  This show is fun!  I am happy!  I'm not sure what's going on!  I've been in a spectacular mood all bloody day, even while hanging around doom and gloom!  It's awesome!

I think I'm gonna go have a bath now.

I have a thing for Harry Potter.  Actually, I have a thing for Harry Potter AND the kid who plays Harry Potter.  I love the Harry Potter books, and I (usually) enjoy the movies, and I have endless sympathy for the character of Harry Potter.  But I can remember going to the first movie, long before I ever picked up one of the books, and coming out of it thinking, "Damn, that boy's gonna grow up nice!"  So yeah, I'm as bad as those guys who lust after little Emma Watson.  I watch Daniel Radcliffe and smile my pervy little smile.  And y'know, I don't even know what it is.  Because he's not always the cutest thing going.  There's something about that boy, though...something that makes me enjoy the Harry Potter movies a little more than I probably should.

At least he's 16 now, though, right?  That makes my evil crush a tad less evil, right?

Personally I think I should just enjoy this.  ;)

Note to World:

-  You can't stop Avian Flu.  It's here.  It's staying here.  Killing sixty bazillion ducks isn't going to make a difference.
-  If it's destined to become a pandemic, it's going to become a pandemic.  You cannot stop it.  Deal.
-  If it doesn't become a pandemic, it's still going to be here.  It's always been here, and it shall always be so.  The chances of you getting it are low, and the chances of you dying from it are even lower.
-  Killing off birds and not letting your kids outside isn't going to stop the Avian Flu.  Killing off birds and not letting your kids outside before the flu even hits your stupid little town isn't going to give you extra immunity.  If it wants to get you, it's gonna get you.
-  You cannot get rid of every bird in existence.  Therefore, you cannot get rid of the Avian Flu.

General remarks, yes, but people should really step back and take a good look at how they're reacting.

The infinite stupidity of people never ceases to amaze me.

You know what the stupidest song ever is?  "My Humps".  Black Eyed Peas suck.  I mean, what kind of stupid piece of wannabe music is that, anyway?  Humps.  Pfffft.

Most music today is beyond bad.  It's tragic, really.

I actually heard a good song on the radio today.  I want to download it.  I don't know what it was, though, or who it was by.  I couldn't even make out any of the lyrics.  It sounded like Green Day, but my searches have come up with nada.  Stupid sucky search engines.

OH!  I sooooooo just found a song I love.  Happy!  It's not the radio one, but it's one I've been looking for.

What's that?  You want to know my favourite musicians, groups, and songs?  Well, okay.

I tend to enjoy only a few songs from many, many artists.  I can call myself a fan, though, of Alanis Morissette, U2, Collective Soul, and Wide Mouth Mason, to name a few.  There are three right now, however, that I can't get enough of:

3.  Sarah McLachlan.  I saw her in concert last year and was amazed by how good she was.  I love almost all of her stuff.  It makes you feel validated when you're insanely depressed.  Not familiar with Miss Sarah?  Download these songs:  Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, Perfect Girl, World on Fire, Answer, Full of Grace, Train Wreck, Last Dance, Prayer of St Francis, Witness, Song for a Winter's Night.
2.  Green Day.  Their latest album is sooooo bloody good, and it helped me rediscover some of their older songs.  I'm on a big downloading spree with them right now.  I am so sad that I didn't get to see them play when they were here.  Not familiar with Green Day?  Download these songs:  Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Brain Stew, When I Come Around, Time of Your Life, Basket Case, Jesus of Suburbia, I Was There.
1.  Coldplay.  I love this band like nothing else.  Their first album is good, their second one is amazing and their third is still in my CD player after over a month of nearly non-stop listening.  They're great live, too.  I could live on this music.  Not familiar with Coldplay?  Download these songs:  Amsterdam, Yellow, Clocks, Swallowed in the Sea, What If, A Rush of Blood to the Head, Green Eyes, A Message, The Scientist, Don't Panic, No More Keeping My Feet on the Ground.

Perhaps each day I will recommend a song.  Yes, I think that's a good idea.

As there are many recommendations already in this post, I will refrain from giving another.
